Participants are advised that due to predicted heats at Maitland on Thursday, January 21 the meetings has been transferred to a night meeting, with first race to go at 7pm.

Given predicated temperatures in the high 30's, the change was made in consultation with GRNSW and SKY Racing. A copy of the fields for Thursday's meeting is available here

Participants should make themselves familiar with the Heat Policy, and where they are concerned for the welfare of any greyhound they should be seeking immediate treatment and contacting GRNSW if nominated for a meeting. The Hot Weather Policy is available here

Further, participants are advised that due to final works not commencing as scheduled, trials tonight won't be able to progress. This assessment has ultimately been made based on a concern for the amount of water that needs to be returned to the racing surface after the final blend which is due to commence this morning. Sufficient water is needed to ensure a safe surface is available.

The NSW GBOTA apologises for inconvenience caused, staff have worked hard with contractors to deliver on time and allow trialling to return to the venue. We like participants are disappointed this hasn’t been able to be achieved.

Trials will be available after racing on Thursday, and Friday morning. Further information, if required can be obtained from Operations Manager, Ellen Harris, on 0285871210.
